Marathon & Half Marathon
When / Date & Time:
Both the Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and Marathon (26.2 miles) will begin simultaneously at 9:00 AM on Sunday, April 27th, 2025
Where / Location:
The start and finish areas will be at Greenville Consolidated Schools, located at 130 Pritham Ave, Greenville, ME 04441.
Parking will be available on-site.
Bib and T-Shirt Pickup:
- Saturday, April 26: Pick up your bib and T-shirt at Greenville Consolidated School, located at 130 Pritham Ave, Greenville, Maine 04441 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Race Day: You can also pick up your bib and T-shirt on race morning starting at 7:30 AM.
The Course
Half Marathon:
One complete loop of the course (13.1 miles).
Elevation Gain: 973 ft
Marathon:
Two complete loops of the course (26.2 miles).
Elevation Gain: 1946ft
Course Details:
Water and aid stations will be available along the course to support participants.
Bikers and cyclists are not permitted along the course during the race.
Cutoff Time:
3PM, both events have a 6-hour cutoff for completion.
Awards:
There will be awards for the top three finishers in both the male and female categories for each event.
Age group awards are still to be determined, depending on race day registration numbers.
Certification & Qualification:
- This race is NOT USA Track and Field certified, meaning it will not serve as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon in its first year.
- The race organizers hope to pursue USA Track and Field certification in future years, potentially making it a Boston Marathon qualifier down the road.

Kids Fun Run:
- Time & Date: 8am on Sunday, April 27th, 2025
- Distance: Once around the high school track (maybe twice, depending on the ages of the children)
- Cost: $5 each (can be paid in cash in person on race day)
- *All proceeds from this Fun Run will go to benefit the Greenville Recreation Department
The Greenville Recreation Department will be hosting a Kids Fun Run the morning of the marathon at 8am. This is a fun way to bring the little ones into the excitement of running on race day. The distance will most likely be once around the high school track (maybe twice, depending on the ages of the children). Cost to participate is $5 each, and can be paid in cash in person on race day. All proceeds from this Fun Run will go to benefit the Greenville Recreation Department. This event will happen at the same Start / Finish hub as the marathon. There is no need to pre-register for the Kids Fun Run.
